PC Monochrome/Color Display Transition Stand

A transition stand is shown in the figure mounted on top of a Personal Computer (PC) monochrome display, with color display on top of it (Figs. 1 and 2). The stand supports the upper unit and provides adequate air flow for cooling both. The stand incorporates the following features: - Permits color, or other graphic display, to sit above monochrome display at proper viewing angle. - Eliminates the need for additional structure (bridge). - Stand is not mechanically fastened to either display. It is held securely in place by the mechanical geometry and stability of the stand and by the weight distribution of the upper display.
