This article describes a flexible circuit board carrier which can combine various parts of a computer into a single continuous subassembly. Conventional packaging is a combination of glass epoxy cards when connected to one another through cables or connectors to form a completed computer sub-system assembly. The flexible circuit board carrier disclosed herein combines various parts of the machine into a single contiguous part. The uniqueness of the design is in the elimination of interconnecting cables and flexibility of the board in which it folds onto itself in such a manner as to fit to the contour of the particular package that it was designed for.
