This power connector changes shape, to compensate for deterioration causes by localized heating, as a result of the deterioration itself. Utilizing cause and effect in this fashion extends the functional life of power connectors far beyond their normal life expectancy. As a result of this reshaping effect, which was caused by the connector deteriorating to an unacceptable level, the connector in its new form once again provides proper contact. This process continues in a repetitive manner, as determined by the shape and composition of the connector. The above figures illustrate the shape used to achieve the proper reconnection desired. As contact at point "A" deteriorates to an unacceptable level, the localized heat produced causes the connector to change shape.
