Adjustable Terminal Table

A workstation table includes a platform and shelf arrangement which resolves ergonomic problems for terminal users through multiple adjustments of the shelf and its related components. An adjustable table for a computer terminal (Fig. 1.) consists of a display platform 10, a palm rest/keyboard shelf 12, a hinge 14, and brackets 16. Platform 10 is pivotally mounted to pedestals 18, of which only one is shown. Shelf 12 is hinged to platform 10. Brackets 16 move in slots 20, and can be locked in place by lock mechanisms (not shown). The terminal is secured to platform 10, and the keyboard can be restrained by stops (not shown). Fig. 2A shows the terminal table adjusted for touch-screen operation, or standard keyboard input mode.
