A program that analyzes and plots quadratic mathematical expressions derived from multivariable experimental designs to determine the optimum conditions for manufacturing processes is described in the following procedure. A program design is selected according to the number of variables to be analyzed. The experiment is performed, and the results are recorded and entered into the program. An output is automatically generated which yields coefficients to a quadratic expression that relates the dependent variable (Y) to the controlled variables (X's). Each combination of variable settings (treatment combinations) is fed into the mathematical expression to produce a response (predicted) value.
