DCFACT - DC FACTOR Language Test for Integrated Circuits
Original Publication Date: 1985-Aug-01
Included in the Prior Art Database: 2005-Feb-19
A technique is described whereby a test program called DCFACT is used in conjunction with the SENTRY* testers and FACTOR* programming language to provide a testing vehicle for integrated circuits. In prior art, whenever a new integrated circuit was submitted for DC test evaluation, a new FACTOR language test program would be required. Since the SENTRY tester was needed to generate the program, it was removed from its primary function, that of testing components. The technique described herein generates DCFACT, a high-level language, offline, on an editor. It is then translated to FACTOR Language with a conversion program. Corrections are made in the high-level program, then downloaded through a communications link to the SENTRY for compilation and execution.
