Abstract

An assembly is disclosed which enables a printed circuit card to pass through a wall of an enclosure and form an air-tight seal against the wall. The card is trapped between two identical moulded parts which are snapped together. Two soft rectangular gaskets, one around each moulded part, seal the card against the two parts and also seal the assembly against the wall to which it is screwed. The figure illustrates the card holder assembly. Printed circuit card 1 with edges 2, shown by dashed lines, is populated with two connector sockets 3 and three modules 4 on its upper half and a connector plug 5 and a ground connection 6 on its lower half, and also a right- angled connector plug 16.
