The boxing machine and technique disclosed herein solve physical lifting problems and reduce the cycle time for the boxing process. Prior to designing and building the present boxing machine, the boxing process required manual lifting of the product and cushion to place them in a box. The cycle time for this process required several operators and several stations per shift, to package the thousands of products assembled each day.
