Suitably Segmented Two-Level DP Matching Method for Connected-Digit Speech Recognition

This technique provides connected-digit speech recognition by two-level DP matching with better segmentation of digits and better recognition score. This technique is as follows. (1) Assumption Each input pattern is composed of several reference patterns, and the number of references for one input is unknown such as connected-digit recognition with unknown number of digits. (2) Procedures (i) A conventional two-level DP matching method ** is applied to the input data. (ii) The following two results, such an in Fig. 1, are stored.
