A pair of moving transport belts, with surfaces opposed to each other, provide a means to transport documents through a micro-film mechanism, and permit simultaneous micro-filming of both sides of the document. With a single micro-filming station, cost and processing time are reduced. The belt transport is insensitive to document holes, tears, wrinkles, etc., and accommodates multi-part documents without separation or jamming. The figure shows the present embodiment schematically. A pair of identical transparent urethane belts 1, the width of the document path, supported by rollers 2, 3, 4 and 5, driven at the same speed in the direction indicated, are opposed to each other between roller pairs 2 and 3. The rollers are crowned slightly to prevent the belts from walking off the rollers.
