This article describes a telephone line coupler housing for handset cord extension which features a two-part housing wherein the parts are formed by injection molding. They interlock via recesses and engaging projections on the parts. The drawing is an exploded perspective view of the coupler housing parts 1 in position for placement over standard telephone company J11 modular phone receptacles 2. Two standard telephone company J11 plugs 4 are shown positioned for engagement with the receptacles. The parts shown at 1 are identical and produced in the same mold cavity. Projections 5 and latching detents 6 are provided on the parts so that they snap together and retain the receptacles in a compact in-line package. The interconnection between the two receptacles can be by hard wire wraps 3 or solder connections.
