Components of a modular power supply are mounted on a horizontal chassis that rolls into a rack that supports several modules one above the other. The back of the rack contains a water-cooled cold plate for cooling the modules, and a module has a matching vertically disposed interface block that abuts the cold plate when the module is positioned in the rack. Removable bolts that are accessible from the back of the rack are threaded through the cold plate and into the interface block. The vertical interface block and the horizontal chassis are thermally interconnected by heat pipes. The back of the rack also carries electrical connections to the power supply, and an electrical plug is formed as an integral part of the interface block. Fig. 1 is a back view and Fig. 2 is a side view of a module.
