Several centrifugal blowers are located at the bottom of an enclosure for a data processing system along the front and back edges of the enclosure and next to the doors. The blower outlets face upward, and the doors carry upwardly extending ducts that fit over the blower outlets when the doors are closed. The blower motors are located inwardly of the blowers in a compartment that forms part of the air flow path. Air-cooled components are located above the blower motor compartment, and an air to water heat exchanger is located over the air-cooled components. Chilled air from the heat exchanger flows down through the air-cooled components, into the motor compartment, through the blowers, and upward through the ducts in the doors.
