A method is described which allows the operator of an interactive display system to nest an infinite number of different object types within the display space of a single object. The display space is the space allocated on the page for viewing and editing the data contained in an object. If the data is larger than the space allocated, only a portion of the data can be viewed through the display space. The remaining data is scrollable into view.
