Concept Search - What can I type?
For a concept search, you can enter phrases, sentences, or full paragraphs in English. For example, copy and paste the abstract of a patent application or paragraphs from an article.
Concept search eliminates the need for complex Boolean syntax to inform retrieval. Our Semantic Gist engine uses advanced cognitive semantic analysis to extract the meaning of data. This reduces the chances of missing valuable information, that may result from traditional keyword searching.

Self Centering Disk Drive
The described self centering apparatus is particularly useful in flexible disk
The motor includes a depending driving plate adapted to drivingly engage the
driven hub. A locating pin is an extension of the motor shaft and is centered in
the tubular ball cage while the tubular ball cage is inserted into the center portion
of the driven hub. The cege assembly centers the hub with respect to the locating
pin as well as centering the cage with respect to the depending pin. The cage is
suitably journaled for rotation on the lifter, which moves the driven hub into
driving engagement with the driving plate. The tubular ball cage retains a plurality
of bearing balls. Each of the bearing balls is captured in an aperture of the ball
cage. Each aperture is formed to allow free radial motion of the bearing balls
which automatically provide the centering of the pin to the hub.
The above arrangement operates in any orientation. Suitable insertion and
extraction apparatus may be provided for the disk and driven hub assembly.
Furthermore, the disk and driven hub assembly may be a free disk or may be
enclosed in a disk cartridge (not shown).
