Module Stack System
A modular system layout is described in which the active components
(integrated circuit chips, discrete components) are arranged on ceramic bars
assembled in honeycomb fashion.
The honeycomb arrangement of ceramic bars 1 is shown in Fig. 1 by way of
a schematic lateral view perpendicular to the longitudinal axis and in Fig. 2 by
way of a plan view. The individual ceramic bars 1 are produced in metallized
ceramic or multilayer ceramic technology. The components forming the stack
system, such as chips 2, shown only schematically in Figs. 1 and 2, are
mechanically and electrically connected to ceramic bars 1 via pins 3. as shown in
Fig. 3 shows, by way of an enlarged section of Fig. 2, how the individual
ceramic bars 1 are assembled by means of triangular holder b ars 4. On each
surface of holder bars 4 there is a longitudinal groove 5 into which ceramic bar 1
