Reduction of Partial Capacitances Between Lines

With several parallel lines, capacitive coupling does not only occur between immediately adjacent lines. In special cases, a partial capacitance of two lines, between which several other lines extend, may be significant. To reduce the coupling, the line spacing can be increased at the expense of the packing density.
