The present structure is directed to a delayed motion cam-actuated switch used in printing apparatus in connection with the paper feed, and particularly involves the movement of feed rollers, aligners and paper bails. The switches which are to be activated upon the completion of particular movements of either rolls, aligners or paper bails are coupled to a cam follower which follows the same cam that is followed by and coupled to the particular rollers, aligners or bails. In this manner the movement of the cam both actuates the desired controlled motion and is coupled to a switch which is thrown in relation to the movement of the cam which implements the particular action.
