Audio Recording On Magnetic Stripe Documents

As shown in Fig. 1, a card or other document 1 may be provided with a magnetic stripe which is utilized to record two types of information, a first track or set of tracks 2A containing audio information, such as identification of the item bearing the document, for example, a coat size 42, slacks size 46, reject, repaint, OK and other similar statements which are to be reproduced audibly. The other portion 2B of the stripe contains one or more digital tracks bearing the usual digital information or coded digital information which can serve as security identification, for example, the individual's Social Security number, employee's number, and the like.
