This search box also supports the look-up of an IP.com Digital Signature (also referred to as Fingerprint); enter the 72-, 48-, or 32-character code to retrieve details of the associated file or submission.
Concept Search - What can I type?
For a concept search, you can enter phrases, sentences, or full paragraphs in English. For example, copy and paste the abstract of a patent application or paragraphs from an article.
Concept search eliminates the need for complex Boolean syntax to inform retrieval. Our Semantic Gist engine uses advanced cognitive semantic analysis to extract the meaning of data. This reduces the chances of missing valuable information, that may result from traditional keyword searching.

Overload Protection Circuit
This circuit protects against overload and at the same time provides an
indication that an overload condition exists.
The electrical characteristics of the lamps L1 and L2 and the diode D are
selected so that during normal operation the lamps are extinguished and no
current flows through the diode. This results in only a small power loss across
the lamps because these are cold and have a low resistance. However, when
an overload condition occurs, diode D conducts, causing at least L1 to light. The
condition of diode D limits the voltage at OUT to a safe value while the high
resistance of the lit lamp L1 limits current flow through the diode D.
