The circuit (Fig. 1) described in this article will convert a digital signal into a close approximation of an analog minimum shift keyed (MSK) signal suitable for transmission over a voice-grade facility. For the reduced form (n = 1), the lower frequency is equal to the baud rate (BR) divided by 2 (Fl = BR/2). Also, the upper frequency is equal to the baud rate (f micron = BR).
