The present approach provides for axial adjustment of a hub in fine motion increments. It provides a structure wherein a motor hub may be attached to the motor shaft to allow for a tight fit while retaining the ability to move the hub axially along the motor shaft in small increments. In the place of a customary setscrew which merely digs into the shaft, the present structure utilizes a half round clamping section, to be described in further detail with respect to Figs. 2 and 3, upon which the setscrew acts and which is axially slideable up and down the shaft until the set screw fixes its position by pressing it into engagement with the main body of the shaft.
