Use Of PbIn Films To Determine Electrostatic Equipotential And Current Flow Patterns

PbIn films may be used to define electrostatic equipotential distribution and electron current flow at 175 degrees C +/- 10 degrees C when a current density of the order of 10/3/ - 1-/5/ Acm/2/ is applied. The pattern consists of lines of high indium concentration which rise as ridges above the surface of the alloy (presenting a corrugated surface) and follow the electrostatic equipotential pattern.
