Several existing IBM System/360 and IBM System/370 processors have a facility which makes it easy for the user to alter or display the various storages in the computer, such as real main storage, virtual main storage, general purpose registers (GPRs), floating point registers, and control registers. This facility is commonly referred to as the Alter/Display Facility.
