Damped, Three Junction Interferometer Structures

It has been shown that damping of interferometers reduces the amplitude of resonances in such devices (U.S. Patent 4,117,503). When three junction interferometers are used, a problem arises in connecting damping resistors while simultaneously maintaining a low self inductance associated with the resistors. In addition, resistor contact cannot be made to the counterelectrode of the Josephson junctions of the three junction interferometer.
