Concept Search - What can I type?
For a concept search, you can enter phrases, sentences, or full paragraphs in English. For example, copy and paste the abstract of a patent application or paragraphs from an article.
Concept search eliminates the need for complex Boolean syntax to inform retrieval. Our Semantic Gist engine uses advanced cognitive semantic analysis to extract the meaning of data. This reduces the chances of missing valuable information, that may result from traditional keyword searching.

Paper Guide For Helical Printer
Improved uniformity of the pressure between metallized paper and a
recording erosion helix on a drum can be obtained by using the inherent property
of the paper.
In the drawing, metallized paper 1, moving in the direction of the arrow, is
constrained by a pair of guide members 2, 3 and additional support 4 adjacent to
the surface of a rotating helical electrode 5. The guides and support are spaced
from the electrode so as to force the paper to bend at a relatively sharp radius 6
in contact with the electrode. The inherent strength of the paper allows it to be
pulled along the path illustrated and while maintaining an arc and limited helix
contact with substantially constant pressure.
