Circuit modules which hold an integrated circuit chip can have very closely spaced interconnections at the edge of the module which carry both signals and power. These interconnections are often so closely spaced as to make connection to a board very difficult. This article shows a method of converting the closely spaced module interconnections to a more widely spaced array of pins via a space-expanding pedestal.
