Concept Search - What can I type?
For a concept search, you can enter phrases, sentences, or full paragraphs in English. For example, copy and paste the abstract of a patent application or paragraphs from an article.
Concept search eliminates the need for complex Boolean syntax to inform retrieval. Our Semantic Gist engine uses advanced cognitive semantic analysis to extract the meaning of data. This reduces the chances of missing valuable information, that may result from traditional keyword searching.

Even Left Margins For Different Pitch Fonts
An even left margin is obtained for different pitch fonts by adjusting
beginning print points.
Printing with daisy wheel printer print elements having standard spacing
characters centered on the petals results in an even left margin regardless of any
beginning print point as long as the pitch remains the same. This is not the case
though in the event of a change in pitch and elements. This is because there is
a difference in the widths of. for example, 10 and 12 pitch characters along a
A "W", which is 6 escapement units wide in 10 pitch, is 5 escapement units
wide in 12 pitch. Thus, if the left edge of a 10 pitch "W" is aligned against the
left margin, the left edge of a 12 pitch "W" will be displaced 1/2 escapement unit
to the right of the left margin.
A solution to this misalignment problem is to cause carrier escapement 1/2 of
the character width following a carrier return operation and before printing is
allowed to begin.
