Concept Search - What can I type?
For a concept search, you can enter phrases, sentences, or full paragraphs in English. For example, copy and paste the abstract of a patent application or paragraphs from an article.
Concept search eliminates the need for complex Boolean syntax to inform retrieval. Our Semantic Gist engine uses advanced cognitive semantic analysis to extract the meaning of data. This reduces the chances of missing valuable information, that may result from traditional keyword searching.

Topless Clean Air Centrifuge Dryer
This article teaches that by providing a top through which prefiltered clean air
may freely flow, better centrifugal spin drying of devices may be realized.
The centrifuge dryer shown in the drawing comprises an exterior
housing 10 containing a rotatable shaft 11 extending from a high
speed motor 12. The shaft supports a centrifuge rack 13 upon which
are mounted a multiplicity of devices 14 which are to be dried.
Located in the bottom of the housing is a drain pipe 15 through which
the liquids driven from the spun devices may be removed from the
housing. This drain pipe 15 is provided with an antisiphon trap 16.
The housing 10 is provided with a perforated top 17 through which
clean air may freely flow into the centrifuge. It has been found
that further advantageous results are realized if a cylindrical
chimney-like extension 18 is provided above the perforated top.
The spinning action of the rack creates a draft and draws air into the housing
down through the central part of the rack. Most of this air is forced up along the
walls of the housing and the remainder down the drain pipe. Positive pressure is
thus realized in the drain when the centrifuge is spinning and assures that
moisture is not drawn back into the centrifuge through the drain during spinning.
With this modified centrifuge, drying time is reduced by about 70%, and
staining and particle deposition on the device being dried is significantly reduced.
