This circuit enables variable time delays to be provided in semiconductor circuits which must be capable of operating in various environment either to provide different timing conditions in the same environment or to provide predetermined timing conditions in different environments. Often it is difficult to design time delay circuits in the absence of prototype hardware, as numerous variables may control actual delays observed in a fabricated integrated circuit chip. The technique used in the above circuit enables hardware versions of working products to be fabricated with programmable RC time delays.
