This article describes a method for plating palladium electronic components assembled in strip format and fed from a supply to a take-up reel. More specifically, the method is concerned with plating palladium on beryllium-copper preformed electrical contacts which are strip mounted and driven from a supply reel through a series of in-line, shallow cleaning and plating tanks to a take-up reel where, as a finished plated product, the connectors are ready for the next assembly step.
