Abstract

The size of recorded dots in an electroerosion helix printer can be substantially reduced and maintained at a uniform size along an entire print line. This is done by using a slotted aperture through which the metal-coated paper is urged by a flexible platen into contact with the helical recording element on a rotating drum.
