Concept Search - What can I type?
For a concept search, you can enter phrases, sentences, or full paragraphs in English. For example, copy and paste the abstract of a patent application or paragraphs from an article.
Concept search eliminates the need for complex Boolean syntax to inform retrieval. Our Semantic Gist engine uses advanced cognitive semantic analysis to extract the meaning of data. This reduces the chances of missing valuable information, that may result from traditional keyword searching.

Ionic Dyes For "Hole Burning" Applications
Spectroscopic "hole burning" at low temperature can be used for information
storage. This article discloses a class of compounds for such hole burning.
The class of compounds incorporates the systems described in Figs. 1 and 2.
A characteristic property of these systems is that they are charged and have the
possibility for unsymmetrical charge distribution. Furthermore, the charge is
conjugated with at least a portion of the system and, therefore, lends itself to
possible photochemical valence isomerization.
Nile Blue A Perchlorate is an example of this class of compounds which I
found capable of yielding "hole burning."
Other examples of compounds which fall in the disclosed class of systems
are: Azure A, B, and C, Oxazine and Rhodamine dyes.
