Wiring of the required information is made by one out of three possible
standard levels, for example, + 5V, - 5V and ground.
A three-bit configuration is entered through input pin I. Depending upon the
input level, different standard TTL levels are recovered on outputs A and B
through the resistor network and receivers 1 and 2. The UP and DOWN levels on
