This temperature sensor comprises a conventional single-shot multivibrator 3 having a thermistor 5 in its timing circuit. When a strobe signal is supplied over line 7, the single-shot fires, and an output signal is generated on output line 9. This output signal persists for a time interval determined by the value of resistance of thermistor 5 and a capacitor 11. Since the value of resistance of thermistor 5 varies with temperature, the duration of the output signal will also vary with temperature. Conventional timing circuits (not shown) can be used to determine the length of the output signal.
