Multicontact plug 4 consists of base plate 5 and housing 6 (Figs. 1 and 2). A plurality of contact pins 7, arranged in rows, extend into the inside 18 of housing 6. Tags 8, extending through recesses 9 of base plate 5, are connected to contact pins 7. Tags 8 may be connected, for example, to flat cable connector plugs. Insulating plate 10 and ground plate 11 are arranged between base plate 5 and housing 6. Insulating plate 10 is provided with holes 12 corresponding to the position of contact pins 7. In the same manner, ground plate 11 is provided with holes 13. Contact pins 7 protrude through holes 12 and 13.
