X-ray fluorescence analysis of light powders and liquids cannot be performed in electron (E)-beam instruments (i.e., scanning electron microscopes, electron microprobes). There are two reasons for this. The first is that the vacuum can disturb particles and cause liquids to evaporate, and the second is that the exciting electron beam can disperse particles and cause electron charging. This sample container eliminates all of these problems.
