Shown in the drawing are logic circuits wherein binary information is no longer defined in terms of voltage levels but by their phase relations with respect to clock signals. These clocks are of the same frequency, but not overlapped. If a signal is in phase with phi O, it represents the logical value 0, and if it is in phase with phi 1, it represents the logical value 1.
