Certain systems or processes employ fluids which must not be allowed to be completely evacuated from their container because of the system requirements that the system be maintained, fluid-filled and free of, for example, air or other gaseous media bubbles. In these instances, the reservoir or bulk fluid container must be checked periodically to assure that consumption of the fluid has not reduced the level below some minimum safe level. Accordingly, it is important that vibration or other agitating effects not obscure the true level of fluid in the container.
