Abstract

Ink jet technology is becoming of increasing importance. While the first system of machines using ink jet required only single nozzles, the more advanced systems require the nozzles to be combined into large arrays possessing stringent dimensional tolerances. Among the more promising nozzles that will be able to meet all of the specifications in these new systems are those made of glass.
