In gas panel fabrication, very small and very thin parallel electrical conductors are formed on substrates, and a pair of such substrates disposed on opposite sides of a chamber filled with an illuminable gas, with one set of electrical conductors extending orthogonally with respect to the other, the coordinate intersections defining display cell locations.
