The figure illustrates a partially cut away vertical section taken through a multi-media printing machine designed to meet low profile spatial allowances for use on or as the top of an operator's desk. The printer's basic functions are to accept, feed, take up and print on a roll of journal paper a running copy of entries made at the station. The entries made at the station are on cut forms, and a requirement exists to accept, feed, print, and eject the cut forms and to maintain a record of what was printed on them on the journal roll. Means for feeding either type of media and for reviewing the last lines printed on the journal roll are also necessary.
