An arrangement is provided for interconnecting a planar card 10 to a printed circuit board 20 without using cables for power and signal transmission. This arrangement is an improvement over standard cable interconnection arrangements because electrical parameters, such as impedance and induction, which are critical for systems match, can be maintained. The arrangement also permits removal of planar card 10 without removing cables. Planar card removal is accomplished by jack screws, as represented by jack screw 30.
