High Resolution Scanning Resonant Raman Spectrometer

This article describes the design of a scanning resonant Raman spectrometer (SRRS) and a method of operation of the spectrometer that will enhance its resolution capacity. The technique herein described has been used to detect C1 in CdS at concentrations as low as 2x10/15/ Cl per cm/3/. Furthermore, the spatial resolution of the spectrometer is excellent and can be easily held to better than 50 microns.
