The power-supply regulator circuit (Fig. 1) has improved efficiency and switching operation, as well as improved regulation on all output levels. The power supply is operated at one clock frequency, and voltage transients are contained on the switches within their operating limits. A clock operating at 40 KHz or other desired high frequency produces a pulse output (Fig. 2). The clock drives a D-flip-flop D-FF No. 1 (Fig. 1).
