Concept Search - What can I type?
For a concept search, you can enter phrases, sentences, or full paragraphs in English. For example, copy and paste the abstract of a patent application or paragraphs from an article.
Concept search eliminates the need for complex Boolean syntax to inform retrieval. Our Semantic Gist engine uses advanced cognitive semantic analysis to extract the meaning of data. This reduces the chances of missing valuable information, that may result from traditional keyword searching.

Mobius Print Belt
The provision of a mobius twist in a print belt permits doubling the number of
characters on a belt, thus reducing the wear.
As seen in the figure, type belt 1 has a row of upright characters 2 on its front
and a row 3 of inverted characters on its reverse side. A half twist 4 is given to
one end of the belt before joining the ends. After welding, the belt becomes a
mobius strip with one edge and one side. The portion of the belt passing by the
print hammers is flat while the twisted portion is on the return path of the belt. If
desired, the extra character area of the belt may be used for a different font or for
extra large character sets in special printing applications.
