Technique for Contamination and Loss Free Evaporation of Di Water

To permit using flameless atomic absorption to determine iron in Di-water, the iron concentration of the Di-water must be raised to a value which is above Approximately 2x10/-7/ %, the detection limit for iron in a 100 Mu l sample. This is achieved by evaporating a Di-water volume from 10 ml to the final volume of 100 Mu l, in which the analysis is conducted.
