The figure illustrates a digital portion of the circuitry of a display terminal having a cathode ray tube (CRT) 10 for manifesting data to the operator, a keyboard 12 for use by the operator to enter data and commands, and a transmission line connection 14 for communication with a remote controller (not shown). The unit includes a read-write storage 16 from which data is read sequentially by display refresh address counter 18 in a continuous manner for maintaining a display of the data represented thereby on the screen of CRT 10.
