This stacking complex uses input handlers 1 to deliver green sheet parts in tray 2 in sequential order to orientor 3. After this, upon proper positioning, a transfer head 4 removes the green sheet from tray 2 to alignment station 5. After placing the green sheet on the alignment plate, transfer head 4 returns to its start position while transfer head 6 positions itself over alignment station 5. Head 6 lowers to within 0.040 of the green sheet which actuates an air curtain in both head and alignment surfaces, causing the green sheet to float between surfaces while positioning pins are forced through the green sheet locating holes.
