Concept Search - What can I type?
For a concept search, you can enter phrases, sentences, or full paragraphs in English. For example, copy and paste the abstract of a patent application or paragraphs from an article.
Concept search eliminates the need for complex Boolean syntax to inform retrieval. Our Semantic Gist engine uses advanced cognitive semantic analysis to extract the meaning of data. This reduces the chances of missing valuable information, that may result from traditional keyword searching.

Tape Tracking Device
The device shown above allows one to adjust a length of flexible media (not
shown) relative to the transducing gap of a transducer (not shown).
The device comprises a flexible flange which mounts to a capstan motor 10
and allows for adjustments which, in effect, align the media (not shown) that rides
on surface 11 of the capstan motor. The flange is mounted to the motor through
holes 12, 14, 16 and 18. Flexible fingers 20, 22 and 24 which are fabricated on
the flange are mounted to the plate at 26, 28 and 30, respectively, through holes
26', 28' and 30'. A plurality of adjustment screws (not shown) projects through
the plate at points 34, 36 and 38. The ends of these adjustment screws bear
against the flange at points 34', 36' and 38', respectively. By turning the
adjustment screws from the side of the plate which is opposite to the side which
supports the flange, the flange deflects, thereby changing the capstan motor
alignment and, hence, the relative position of the media to the transducing gap.
